Gisborne Secondary College is a single-campus, year 7 to 12, co-educational school located 50 kilometres north of Melbourne.

The College has an excellent record of student success and achievement. VCE pass rates over recent years has been above the Statewide average with the majority of students receiving offers for tertiary courses. This academic record is well supported by a range of extra-curricular programs and services designed to extend, motivate and encourage students in their pursuits.


We are committed to providing a safe, secure and supportive environment for all students. The staff at the College are highly qualified and experienced. A significant number of our staff are involved in wider programs which benefit the educational community, working in roles such as authors, examiners and lecturers.

We have a population of approximately 1250 students and employ around 100 teachers and support staff. The school is set on a large site comprising a sports oval, tennis courts and basketball/netball courts. The College features a full size gymnasium, a music/drama hall, a library/resource centre, computer and science laboratories, and a series of technical and trade workshops.
